Awesome Vintage Legal Ad of the Week “A Bike”

(…may or may not be updated weekly) This week’s selection takes us back to the far off time of 1986. A time when it was appropriate for spokespeople to dress like MJ’s “Thriller.”… Only minus the Tiger cub. This bad to the bone spokesman discusses the dangers of riding a rad bike and the potential results that might occur when encountering a 1981 Honda Accord. On the bright side, with a jheri curl like that, there is no need to wear a helmet. I am worried, however, as to how his hair looks when he removes that bomb helmet. Awesome Vintage Legal Ad of the Week “Mailbox”

(…may or may not be updated weekly) In the 1980s, Crosspoint was founded by legendary Denver attorney, Norton Frickey. He pioneered legal and medical broadcast advertising, building a successful agency and post-production facility along the way. Over the years, we’ve produced thousands of spots for lawyers and doctors. Some of it good, some of it bad. A few SO bad, they’re awesome. We uncovered this gem while digging through the archives. Westfield Company introduces 1800 Larimer

Crosspoint and blue onion provided beginning-to-end production and post for Westfield Company’s opening of 1800 Larimer, the newest addition to the Downtown Denver skyline. A technologically-advanced office tower, 1800 Larimer is LEED Platinum certified and represents the future of urban office space. The project was truly all hands on-deck: Scott Tuke shot interiors, interviews, exteriors and using Sony HDCam F900; and Luke Bishop and Mike Heinrich contributed 2nd unit photography on Sony EX3. Matt Struck edited 5 video pods on Final Cut Pro and Adobe Affter Effects, for presentation on multimedia kiosk and web. Donald Corsiglia created 3D and motion graphics effects in Cinema 4D. Steven Lopez added additional 3D work with Google Earth Pro and SketchUp. Eric Anolin applied final color grades in Baselight.

anythink: A Revolution of Rangeview Libraries

Objectives: This is one of two documentaries created by Ricochet Ideas and Crosspoint to unveil and explain a revolutionary new concept in libraries. We also created 3-minute webisodes to give focus to more specific library topics. The shows have been broadcast at four new library opening events and are the key presentation at the 2010 National Public Libraries Association show. The shorts have been released virally on YouTube and to library-specific sites. The majority of all filming was during live events and could not interfere with the proceedings. This required a small, highly organized crew that could maintain a tight schedule, organize VIP interviews, and shoot B-roll surroundings within just two days. Measures of Success: More than 1,300 hits on YouTube in the first three months. Target Audience: Library directors nationwide, community leaders, and consumers. Specific Roles on project: John Bellina, Ricochet Ideas – Writer/Director Tasso Stathopulos, Ricochet Ideas – Art Director Joan Laflamme – Proofing Corey Hayes, Crosspoint – Producer/Director Luke Bishop, Crosspoint – DP/Grip Sound Chris Walsh, Crosspoint – Sound Design Audio Engineer John Riccardo, Crosspoint – Editor Nate Rich, Crosspoint – Graphics Jeff Chiba Stearns – Animation
